Cinematic Wildlife Stories: Captured by Tushar

From the wetlands of Navi Mumbai to the forests of Gir, these are the moments that defined my journey behind the lens.

Welcome to Gir National Park, the only place in Asia where lions roam free. This isn't Africa; this is the raw, untamed heart of India, where I film stories of royalty walking wild.

This isn't a distant sanctuary. This is Navi Mumbai. I film here to show the world the vibrant flamingo flocks that are threatened by urban expansion, telling a story of conservation that unfolds right at our doorstep.

Capturing the mating ritual of the Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher in the rain-soaked Western Ghats was a testament to patience. This is the kind of rare, intimate wildlife behavior I specialize in documenting.

From the pink flocks of Navi Mumbai to the kings of Gir, this is a glimpse into the wild world I explore. My filmmaking turns these fleeting moments into lasting stories for documentaries and social media.

People often ask what I do for happiness. This is it. I step into the wild with my camera to capture moments that feel more alive than anything else. This is not just my job; it's what fuels my life.

Meet the fan-throated lizard, a tiny showstopper from the Indian grasslands. Filming its vibrant display is a perfect example of how I uncover the spectacular stories of even the smallest creatures.

Birding taught me patience. Looking through the viewfinder, the world disappears, and it's just me, the camera, and the subject. This is my therapy, a calm focus that I bring to every project.

About this collection

People ask me why I crawl in the mud for hours just to get a shot of a Kingfisher. The truth is, it is not just about the final frame. When I look through my viewfinder, everything else fades. That patience, the stillness, and the connection with the wild—that is the real story I want to capture for you.

This collection is not just a portfolio. It is a look at my relationship with the natural world. Whether I am tracking Asiatic Lions in the heat of Gir or waiting for the exact moment a Flamingo takes flight in Navi Mumbai, my approach remains the same. I do not just shoot wildlife. I document behaviors.

I use a Nikon Z8, which allows me to record 4K footage at 120fps. This is crucial for capturing the high-speed action of birds in flight or the subtle movements of reptiles. But technology only goes so far. The real work is fieldcraft. It is about understanding the animal, respecting its space, and being ready when the action happens.

My work spans three main styles:

  • Cinematic Wildlife Mixtapes: These are moody, high-energy clips designed for social media. I focus on beat-sync editing and slow-motion sequences that make you feel the raw power of the animal.
  • Documentary Shorts: For these, I dive deeper into the story. We look at species narratives, habitat challenges, and the delicate balance of our ecosystem.
  • Raw Field Footage: This is the reality. You get to see the mud, the chase, and the quiet moments of observation.

If you are looking to bring the wild into your project, let us talk. I do not believe in disturbing nature for a shot. We will work with patience, ethics, and a clear vision to tell your story.

I am just a guy with a regular job who finds his peace behind a camera lens. I spend my mornings in the mud and my evenings editing footage, trying to tell the stories of our wildlife before they vanish. If you want someone who treats every frame as a piece of conservation, let us connect.
