Live Underground Techno DJ Sets
I don't just mix tracks; I build sets live using hardware samplers to create textures and loops you won't hear in a standard playlist.
A clip from my set at The Burrow, where I'm using the Toraiz SP-16 to layer percussion over another track. This kind of live improvisation is what makes DJing exciting for me, allowing me to add a personal, spontaneous touch to the music.

About On The Decks: Live Performances
I bring my own hardware, such as the Toraiz SP-16, to every gig. This allows me to layer percussion, trigger samples, and tweak sounds in real-time, effectively performing a live remix of the tracks as they play rather than simply crossfading from one song to the next.
Beyond the Playlist
Most DJ sets rely on pre-prepared playlists, but my approach is to treat the DJ booth like a live studio. By integrating hardware samplers like the Pioneer DJ Toraiz SP-16 and Maschine MK3, I can break down tracks and rearrange them on the fly. This hybrid setup means every performance is unique; I adapt the energy based on the crowd's reaction and the venue's acoustics.
The Techno & Acid Sound
My performances focus on high-energy, underground techno and raw acid tracks. I prioritize textured percussion and deep, driving basslines that define the dancefloor experience. Because I understand sound from a production and mastering perspective, I pay close attention to frequency management during my sets, ensuring the kick and bass hit with clarity on any sound system, from warehouse clubs to outdoor festival stages.
A Curated Experience
I am a firm believer in the 'no-phone' dancefloor culture. My goal is to create an immersive sonic journey where the audience is connected to the music rather than a screen. Whether it is an opening set for a headliner or a peak-time slot, I carefully structure the progression to build tension and release, keeping the dancefloor engaged for the duration of the performance.
