Creative Pottery and Craft Workshops for Kids
Let kids trade screens for clay and paint. We host hands-on pottery, block printing, and art workshops designed to spark imagination and build confidence for ages 2 and up.
Watch the mesmerizing process of pottery making at our center. From preparing the clay to shaping it on the wheel and painting the final piece, it's a complete artistic journey.

About Creative Corner: Pottery, Painting & Crafts
Expect some clay under the fingernails and paint on the shirts—that is how you know they are learning. Our facilitators do not just supervise, they guide your little one through the pottery wheel and block printing process, ensuring they take home a finished piece they created from scratch.
Pottery and Art: Hands-on Learning
At our Creative Corner, we believe the process is more important than the perfect final product. Whether it is molding wet clay on a mini electric pottery wheel or using traditional wooden block stamps to print designs on fabric, every activity is designed to improve fine motor skills and patience.
What to Expect
- Pottery Workshops: Each child gets 200-300g of wet clay. We show them the technique of shaping a bowl or diya on the wheel, and they take home their raw or air-dried creation.
- Maker's Space: Beyond pottery, kids explore block printing on tote bags, stencils, and fabric painting. We provide aprons, but recommend wearing old clothes that can handle a bit of mess.
- Guided Creativity: We keep our facilitator-to-child ratio around 1:5. This ensures your child gets individual attention, whether they are a beginner or a little pro.
Practical Details
- Age Appropriateness: Our workshops are perfect for kids aged 2 and up. Please note that children aged 2-3 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Location: You can find us at the Fabindia Experience Center, Vasant Kunj. We are open from 12 noon to 8 pm, seven days a week.
- Focus: We focus on screen-free play. We want children to leave with a sense of achievement, a new skill, and a handmade souvenir to show off at home.
