Tennis Training & Coaching by Trisha Vinod
I am a player first. These moments capture my own grind on the clay and the same intensity I bring to every session at my academy.
Everything is earned on the court. This shot from a training session on clay captures the focus and determination required for every backhand and forehand. This is the work ethic I practice myself and pass on to my students during our tennis lessons.
I'm always trying to be a better version of myself every day. This action shot shows a powerful forehand in motion, a result of constant practice and dedication to the sport of tennis.
A compilation of my on-court moments, from powerful serves to agile returns. This is the game that is a part and parcel of my life, and I love sharing my passion for professional tennis with my students.
About On The Court: My Game
My training sessions aren't just about drill repetitions. I prioritize red clay courts for all my students because the surface forces you to learn proper footwork and builds better stamina, which is exactly how I prepare for my own competitive tournaments.
Tennis coaching in Bangalore isn't just about holding a racquet and hitting balls. It is about understanding the game from the inside out. When you watch these clips, you see me working on my own serve, backhand, and match strategy. I take that exact same focus into our coaching programs in Kaggadasapura and Malleshpalya.
Why I Train on Clay
Most academies in the city use hard courts, but I stick to red clay. It is the surface that teaches you to slide, move, and think on your feet. It is physically tougher, but it pays off when you compete. My students don't just learn to stroke; they learn to move properly and build endurance that lasts beyond the court.
My Approach to Coaching
I am not a coach who stands on the sidelines with a whistle. I am a competitive player, which means I know exactly how frustrating it is to struggle with a backhand slice or a second serve. My academy caters to everyone:
- Beginners: We break down the absolute basics of stance and grip.
- Adults: Whether you are picking it up for fitness or getting back to the game, we keep it practical and fun.
- Competitive Players: This is where I push hard. We use video analysis, point construction, and match simulations to help you win tournaments.
Everything I teach is earned. If you want to train in a place where the coach is actually playing alongside you and celebrating every single win, you belong here.
