Nature-Inspired Architectural and Product Design
I find design solutions in the patterns of nature—from the Fibonacci sequence to organic textures. This collection brings together my work across spatial architecture, handcrafted tableware, and sustainable home decor.
This video captures the journey of my Fibonacci tableware, from the simple spiral of a snail in nature to the hands of an artisan at the wheel, and finally to the finished ceramic piece that elevates your dining experience. It is a story of biophilic design and handmade creation.
Here is the signature plate from my Fibonacci tableware series. The charcoal spiral, inspired by natural sequences, is designed to bring a sense of balance and artistry to fine dining. This handmade ceramic piece is a conversation starter for any table setting.
This image showcases two of my 'Mystic Mountains' sculptures side by side. I transform discarded concrete core cuts from construction sites into unique art objects, each hand-painted with a different landscape. It is my way of giving waste a new, beautiful life.

This bench was created for a private farmhouse project, designed with sustainability in mind. I used locally sourced wood for the raw, organic seat and paired it with a minimal black metal frame, focusing on creating beautiful furniture with minimal wastage.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of my work. This image shows the meticulous process of inlaying handwoven cane, a natural material that adds texture and a retro feel to modern furniture. I collaborate closely with skilled artisans to bring these details to life.

I am honored to have my firm recognized as the 'Most Emerging & Promising Interior Design, Product Design & Architectural Design Firm of the Year 2022'. This award is a testament to the trust my clients place in my creative vision.
Nature is my greatest source of inspiration. The incredible golden shell of this Tithoria tarricina chrysalis, with its metallic sheen and organic form, is a perfect example of natural art. It influences my approach to form, texture, and biophilic product design.
About Featured
Every piece you see here, from my ceramic series to custom furniture, begins with an appreciation for natural materials like teak, cane, and stone. I do not design for trends, but rather for how a space or object feels to live with day to day. If you are interested in a piece, know that I design these to be functional and durable, not just ornamental.
My approach to design is anchored in the belief that the natural world provides the best blueprint. Whether I am drafting the floor plate for a residence or hand-turning a ceramic bowl, I look for balance and efficiency.
Why I Work This Way
I focus heavily on biophilic principles, which means incorporating natural elements that lower stress and increase comfort. You will notice this in my choice of materials: raw concrete, reclaimed wood, and handwoven cane. I prefer these because they age honestly. A concrete sculpture or a solid teak tray should carry the story of its making and the wear of time, rather than looking pristine for a week and then failing.
My Design Range
- Spatial Architecture: My architectural projects in Bengaluru and across Karnataka focus on minimal layouts. I try to create spaces that require fewer materials and produce minimal wastage, prioritising natural light and ventilation.
- Product Design: My tableware and furniture are extensions of my architectural work. The 'Fibonacci' series, for instance, uses natural geometric patterns to bring a sense of order to your dining table. Everything is made in small batches, often in collaboration with local artisans who understand the material as well as I do.
Sustainability in Practice
I avoid plastic wherever possible, opting for recycled paper packaging or cloth bags. Even my decor objects, such as my concrete sculptures, come from rescued construction site materials. I am not interested in creating mass-produced items; I am interested in creating objects that start a conversation. If you are looking for design that feels intentional and rooted in nature, I would be happy to discuss your specific needs.
Travis Designs
I am Adithravish, and I see design as a conversation between nature and structure. I build spaces and objects that feel balanced, using materials like teak, cane, and concrete because they age beautifully and honestly. My goal is to make things that invite you to slow down.
