About Family Portraits: The First Chapter
When you come into our Kharghar studio for these portraits, we do not just put you in front of a backdrop and start clicking. We focus on family flow, allowing time for the baby to feed, change, and settle, while we guide you and your partner into natural, relaxed poses. It is not about making everyone look at the camera, but about holding your little one and letting us capture the quiet way you look at each other.
The first chapter of your family journey is usually the most unpredictable. We understand that a newborn needs warmth, consistent feeding, and patience, so our approach in the studio is built entirely around this reality. We prioritize safety and comfort above everything else.
We generally recommend scheduling your family session when your baby is between 10 to 20 days old, if possible. This is the window where they are often more settled and sleepy, which helps us capture those peaceful, swaddled portraits. However, if that window has passed, do not worry. We adapt our posing and flow to suit their mood and age.
We offer specific packages tailored to different family needs. Our Signature Themed & Family collection is perfect if you want a mix of elaborate setups and classic parent and baby shots, usually spanning a 3 to 4-hour session to ensure we are not rushing. For larger families including siblings and grandparents, the Grand Legacy Album gives us up to 5 hours to comfortably transition between different groupings and portraits.
We have a variety of wraps, backdrops, and props at the studio, so you do not need to stress about bringing outfits for the baby. For parents, we find that solid, neutral-colored clothing works best, allowing the focus to remain entirely on the connection between you and your newborn. Whether you choose a dramatic silhouette or a bright, classic studio portrait, the goal is to create a keepsake that feels authentic to your new reality.
