About The Navratan Collection: A Symphony of Nine Gems

I have designed these Navratan pieces to break away from the 'wedding-only' rule. Whether you are pairing a Navratan choker with a crisp black blazer or a soft pastel saree, these sets use a muted antique finish that makes them wearable for any high-profile soirée, not just the altar.

Navratan is more than tradition; it is a cosmic balance captured in gold. The setting requires precision, placing nine specific stones—Ruby, Pearl, Diamond, Emerald, Coral, Hessonite, Cat's Eye, Yellow Sapphire, and Blue Sapphire—to create visual harmony. My approach strips away the bulk often found in traditional sets. I focus on fine-tuning the gold work so the choker feels light against the skin, and the colors pop against varied outfit palettes, from bridal whites to evening blacks.

Beyond the aesthetics, I build these pieces for longevity. The reverse Meenakari work adds a layer of depth that keeps the piece alive even when it is not being worn. Whether we are styling a necklace for a reception or finding a way to incorporate these nine gems into a daily-wear bracelet, the goal is always the same: ensuring the jewellery acts as a partner to your personality, not just a static ornament. When you visit the studio, we look at your existing wardrobe to ensure the gems coordinate with the colors you actually wear, transforming an ancestral concept into a piece you reach for daily.
