About Destination Diaries
When shooting destination weddings, I focus on the local light and landscape to frame your portraits, rather than just using generic hotel backdrops. We often plan sessions around the specific golden hour at your venue, whether it is a sunrise over the hills of Mussoorie or a sunset by the lake in Udaipur.
Traveling for a wedding brings a different set of challenges and opportunities. I do not just show up to take photos, I scout the location the day before to understand the lighting, the best vantage points, and the flow of the venue. For mountain weddings, like those in Mussoorie or Nainital, this involves adjusting for mist and natural shade. For beachside locations, it means managing harsh midday glare to keep your skin tones looking natural.
I work with a dedicated team of photographers for multi-day destination events to ensure we have full coverage while one person is dedicated solely to candid couple shots. We carry our own lighting equipment so we are not dependent on venue lights. This ensures that no matter where you choose to get married, your final gallery maintains the signature warm, vibrant look that defines my work.
