Core Infrastructure (The Cage)
- Steel Fabrication: Heavy-duty MS/GI structural framework (pillars and trusses) designed to withstand high wind loads. Includes anti-rust coating and enamel painting.
- Height Clearance: 20ft to 25ft vertical clearance to allow for lofted cricket shots.
- Netting: High-density, UV-stabilized HDPE netting (box type mesh) covering all sides and the roof. Includes a secondary impact net behind the batsman area.
Surface & Playing Area
- Artificial Turf: 40mm to 50mm pile height commercial grade artificial grass with dual-tone monofilament yarn.
- Infill: Silica sand and rubber granule infill for bounce consistency and injury prevention.
- Base Preparation: Minor PCC leveling work to ensure a zero-level surface with appropriate slope for water drainage.
Electricals & Accessories
- Lighting: LED Floodlights (200W to 400W units) positioned for shadow-reduction.
- Sports Equipment: Spring-loaded cricket stumps, 5-a-side football goal posts, and white turf inlay line marking.

Surface Technology
- Cushion System: 5 to 8-layer synthetic acrylic coating system including primer, resurfacer, multiple liquid rubber cushion layers, and UV-protective top coat.
- Impact Absorption: Designed to reduce joint stress compared to plain concrete surfaces.
- Texture: Anti-slip finish suitable for outdoor weather conditions.
Court Infrastructure
- Fencing: Chain-link fencing (10ft to 12ft high) with angular iron posts for ball containment.
- Equipment: Heavy-duty posts with winch mechanisms and professional nylon nets (for Tennis/Pickleball) or tempered glass backboards (for Basketball).
Civil & Finishing
- Line Marking: Precision painting of court lines using textured, non-fading acrylic paint.
- Waterproofing: Application of moisture barrier primer to prevent surface bubbling.
Portable Commercial Swimming Pool Setup
Pool Structure
- Construction: Heavy-duty galvanized steel frame (rust-resistant) with snap-fit locking system. No digging or excavation required.
- Liner: 3-ply reinforced material featuring a polyester mesh core encased in two layers of high-gauge PVC.
- Dimensions: Range covers entry-level sizes (approx. 15ft x 8ft) up to premium commercial sizes (approx. 30ft x 15ft).
Filtration & Operations
- Pump & Filter: High-capacity Sand Filter Pump system to maintain water clarity suitable for commercial usage.
- Maintenance Kit: Includes surface skimmer, vacuum head, pole, and basic chemical starter kit.

Natural Turf Cricket Wicket Block Construction
Sub-base Construction
- Excavation: Digging up to 2-3 feet depth for the entire wicket block area.
- Layering: Strategic layering of materials starting with large stones/rubble for drainage, followed by coal/fines, and topped with premium Red Soil or Black Cotton Soil.
Surface Preparation
- Grassing: Planting of selection grade Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon).
- Leveling: Laser leveling to ensure a flat playing surface.
- Rolling: Heavy roller compaction to bind the soil and create a hard surface.
Drainage Integration
- Perforated Pipes: Installation of herringbone drainage system around the wicket block to ensure quick drying after rain.

My Story
We’re Jay and Paresh, founders of The Sports Gurukul. People call us the Jay & Veeru of grassroots sports, and that’s kinda funny, but true. We started this outta pure friendship and a wish to get kids off screens and back into the game. Over 20 years, we’ve seen shy kids dive into temperature-controlled swimming pools, teams win their first match, and built sports hubs across India. It’s not just about winning - it’s about growing together, one player at a time.
