We bring Indian traditions to life through immersive storytelling, creative crafts, and play, designed to help your toddler discover the joy of our culture in a screen-free space.

Here is a glimpse of the cutest Ramleela we did, celebrating the wedding of Ram and Sita. The children were so excited to dress up and enact the story, making it a memorable learning experience.

For Dussehra, we learned some fun facts about Ravana and then each child made their own mask. This little one is proudly showing off the ten headed mask he created.

Our Dussehra celebrations included this focused craft session. The children are painting Ravana figures, learning about the story of good over evil through a hands on art activity.

This little girl is exploring bangles during our Diwali celebrations. We incorporate sensory play and traditional items to make the festival experience rich and tangible for the toddlers.

Dressed in their festive best for Diwali. Here, two children are working together on a puzzle, enjoying a quiet moment of play amidst the celebrations.

A sweet moment from our Janmashtami celebration. This child is holding up a 'dahi handi' craft he made, connecting a fun activity with the story of Lord Krishna.

Christmas at The Reading Room is always yummilicious. The children had a great time making their own healthy fruit stick snacks, learning about festive foods and sharing with friends.

A sneak peek into our Ramleela dress rehearsal. Even during practice, the children take their roles very seriously. It’s a joy to watch them build confidence through drama and play.

An instructor helps the children with their Ravana mask craft during our Dussehra event. We always ensure there's plenty of guidance and encouragement for every child.

Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are always colorful. These children are using earbuds to dot paint their Ganesha pictures, a great activity for developing pincer grasp and focus.

About Festivals & Celebrations

These sessions go beyond just talking about festivals. We turn concepts like Dussehra or Ganesh Chaturthi into hands-on experiences where your toddler learns by doing, whether they are painting Ravana masks or using earbuds for dot painting. It is messy, interactive, and gives your child a tangible connection to the stories and traditions they hear about at home.
