About Advanced Cadillac & Chair Routines
You will notice the Cadillac isn't just for the advanced hanging poses you see here. It is an incredibly precise tool for spinal decompression. When you use the push-through bar or spring resistance, it forces you to find stability in deep muscle fibers that a standard mat routine cannot replicate. This is where we move from basic movement to mastering control.
The Cadillac, also known as the Trapeze Table, along with the Stability Chair, provides a completely different resistance dynamic compared to the Reformer. While the Reformer is excellent for flow, the Cadillac allows for isolated movements that are crucial if you are working on specific mobility issues or targeting deeper core engagement.
Why use the Cadillac and Chair?
- Spinal Decompression: The hanging exercises help decompress the spine, offering relief if you sit at a desk all day or suffer from chronic back tightness.
- Targeted Alignment: Because we work one-on-one or in very small batches, I can adjust the springs to correct your specific posture imbalances in real-time.
- Controlled Inversions: Many students are intimidated by inversions. With the support of the Cadillac's structure and my hands-on guidance, you can build the strength to perform these safely without the fear of falling.
Whether you visit my studio at Cunningham Road or Indiranagar, these sessions are designed to move you out of your comfort zone. If you have been hitting a plateau with your current fitness routine, adding these Cadillac and Chair sessions is often the missing piece to unlock your next level of strength and flexibility.
