About Outdoor & Lifestyle Portraits
If you’re worried about posing, let me handle that. Most of my clients aren’t professional models, so we don't do stiff, forced poses. I’ll guide you through natural movements—walking, leaning, laughing—until you forget the camera is there. That’s when we get the real you.
Finding the right light is half the battle. For outdoor shoots, I prioritize the golden hour or soft, filtered daylight in spots like Lodi Gardens or quieter urban streets. I don't believe in stiff poses that look like corporate headshots. Instead, we’ll walk and talk—it’s the best way to get that genuine spark in your eyes.
How a session works:
- We pick a location that matches your vibe, whether it's a park, an old monument, or just a street corner that feels right.
- We start slow, just getting comfortable. I’ll guide you, but I won’t force you into anything that feels unnatural.
- You get high-resolution, color-graded images delivered in 3-5 days.
I usually shoot with a 50mm lens to keep the focus entirely on you, with that soft, blurred background that makes portraits pop. If you want a bit of edge or a specific mood—maybe something cinematic or a classic black and white aesthetic—we can adjust the editing style to match. You don't need a massive budget or a full production team, just your favorite outfits and a bit of time.
