Authentic Street Portraits and Candid Photography
I don't just take pictures. I walk the streets, chase the golden hour, and wait for that one genuine moment that tells your real story.
A powerful portrait of a worker, taken on location. The lighting and environment are as much a part of the story as the person's expression.
Another shot from the same series, this time capturing the beautiful golden flare of the sun, which adds a hopeful and artistic feel to the portrait.
A touching moment of a child sharing food with street dogs. This is the kind of real, unposed story I am always searching for with my camera.
About Authentic Street Portraits
When we shoot, I’m not looking for stiff, studio-perfect poses. I’m looking for the way light hits your face when you’re actually relaxed, or the way you naturally move in a space you love. If you’re nervous about being in front of the lens, don’t worry—that’s where I step in. We won't just stand there; we’ll talk, walk, and find a rhythm so you look like yourself, not a statue.
My approach to street portraits is simple: it’s about the person, not just the background. Whether we are roaming through an old Delhi market, finding a quiet corner in a park, or using the gritty textures of a back alley, I aim to strip away the noise and focus on your character.
I believe photography is a bit of a 'jugaad' (hustle)—it’s about finding the right light, ignoring the crowd, and getting the shot before the moment fades. I shoot with my Nikon D3400 and a 18-55mm lens, keeping my setup light so we can move fast.
Why choose street-style portraits?
- No forced vibes: You don't need to be a model. I prefer capturing your natural reactions over staged expressions.
- Golden hour magic: I love shooting during those last hours of the day. The light is soft, forgiving, and makes everything look cinematic without extra gear.
- Real locations: We skip the generic studios. We pick a location that actually means something to you—a cafe, a street you grew up on, or an urban spot that fits your personality.
After the shoot, I handle the color correction to ensure the final images hold that raw, authentic feel. You’ll get your final set within 5 days, ready to share.
