High-Volume Ball Gowns & Trail Dresses
The Gown Specs
- Style Options: Choice of Cinderella-style tulle ball gowns, satin gowns with 3-5 meter flying trails, or sleek mermaid cuts.
- Fabrication: Constructed from heavy satin, stiff net, and photogenic polyester blends to maintain shape and reflect light in photos.
- Structure: Built-in bodice cups and boning; select models include attached cape sleeves or wings.
Custom Fit
- Alterations: Bust and waist fitting (taking in/letting out) performed by master tailors at the studio.
- Length: Standard length maintained; height management requires appropriate heel selection by the user.
Logistics & Extras
- Hygiene: Includes industrial steam pressing and post-rental antibacterial dry cleaning.
- Transport: Packed in heavy-duty garment bags to protect volume.
- Accessories: Standard rhinestone tiara or hair vine included based on availability.
Bridal & Sangeet Lehengas
The Ensemble
- Skirt (Ghagra): Heavy machine embroidery, sequin work, or foil-mirror work available in A-line or broad-flare cuts.
- Blouse (Choli): Pre-stitched designs with 2-3 inches of inner margin for size adjustments (sleeveless to traditional cuts).
- Dupatta: Net or georgette drape with bordered embellishments and corner tassels.
Structural Support
- Can-Can Skirt: Separate, wire-reinforced or hard-net underskirt provided to ensure the lehenga retains a ballroom flare.
- Fasteners: Zipper/hook closures reinforced with drawstrings and decorative latkans.
Fit & Care
- Tailoring: Bust and waist alterations completed 2-3 days pre-event.
- Maintenance: Steam ironed and packed in wide suit covers to prevent folding lines; includes petroleum wash dry cleaning.
Men's Suits, Tuxedos & Sherwanis
Western Wear
- Configuration: 2-piece or 3-piece sets (Blazer, Trousers, Vest) or Tuxedos with satin lapels.
- Material: High-durability poly-viscose or velvet blends.
- Accessories: Includes bow tie or necktie and a satin pocket square.
Ethnic Wear
- Configuration: Brocade/Silk blend Sherwani, Indo-western cut, or Jodhpuri Bandhgala.
- Bottoms: Standard size Churidar or dhoti pants with drawstring waist.
- Accessories: Velvet stole/dupatta and beaded Mala necklace included.
Fit & Finish
- Alterations: Trouser length hemming, sleeve tacking, and waist hook repositioning.
- Condition: Collar stain treatment and crisp steam press.
- Note: Inner shirts/Kurtas are not included unless specified as a set.

- Selection: Choice of premium Gown or Lehenga.
- Components: Includes all standard structural items (can-can) and finishing services.

- Selection: Suit, Tuxedo, or Sherwani chosen to complement the partner's attire.
- Matching: Ties, pocket squares, or stoles are selected to exactly match the shade of the female outfit.
Coordination Service
- Consultation: Assistance in selecting pairs that avoid clashing patterns.
- Trial: Joint trial session at the studio to verify the combined look.

Why I Started The Dress Bank
I kicked off The Dress Bank with one goal - I wanted to make those big moments feel magical without emptying anyone’s wallet. I know the right look can flip your mood, make you walk taller, and let you own your day. So here, you get more than just a rental - you get a shot at your own fairytale.
What’s in My Collection
- Bridal Lehenga rental Bangalore is my favourite thing to help with, and my shelves are always stacked with lehengas that suit everyone from brides to besties. Embroidery, sequins, mirror work... I keep mixing it up so you always find something new.
- Gowns for all moods - flying long-tail ones for drama, ball gowns for that princess vibe, ruffled and modern pieces for parties, and white wedding gowns for Christian ceremonies. Designer party gowns on rent are a big hit for farewells and birthdays.
- Men don’t get left out! There’s ethnic groom wear rental like sherwanis, Jodhpuri sets, Indo-Western fusion, plus suits and tuxedos in all shapes and shades. If you want a suit that’s actually made for you, I’ll get one stitched - and yes, you can rent it.

My Story
Hey, Deepa here! The Dress Bank started from my obsession with how a saree or gown can totally flip your mood. Once, I wore my mum’s old saree and felt all kinds of nostalgia mixed with confidence. I wanted everyone to feel that magic, but without spending a bomb. So, we built this place for renting dreamy dresses. Ten years down, after a wild studio renovation (don’t ask about the ceiling!), I’m just grateful for my crew and the folks who trust us with their big days.
