Moody Food & Product Photography
I don't just shoot food; I make it look taubatauba (incredible) delicious. Let’s capture your menu or brand with the same intensity I bring to my photography.
A dynamic video showcasing a full spread for a cafe client. I use various angles and close-ups to highlight everything from the texture of the pasta to the fresh toppings on the pizza, creating an engaging visual menu.
This video captures the art of mixology. From slicing the lime to the final pour, I film the entire process to create a cinematic and enticing promo for a bar's signature mojito.
A close-up shot of a creamy pesto pasta dish, ready to be eaten. I focus on making the food the hero, using natural light and careful composition to emphasize its delicious details.
A complete meal setting with a refreshing pink mocktail, pizza, and pasta. This type of shot is perfect for restaurants wanting to showcase the variety and ambiance of their dining experience.
A behind the scenes video of a food shoot for a client. It shows the preparation of a chicken dish, from the sizzling pan to the final plating, giving customers a peek into the kitchen.
A close-up, moody video of pani puri being prepared. The steam and quick movements create a dynamic and mouth-watering visual that captures the essence of Indian street food.
Capturing the process of making bhel puri. The focus is on the hands mixing the ingredients, highlighting the fresh, handmade nature of the snack.
About this collection
Forget those sterile, overly lit photos that look like everyone else's. I use a mix of natural window light and moody flash setups to make your dishes and products pop. Whether it’s the plating textures of a pasta dish or the intricate details of handmade jewelry, I focus on the specific elements that actually make a customer pause while scrolling your feed.
When I shoot for a brand or a restaurant, I'm not just clicking buttons. I'm trying to translate the vibe of the place into a frame. Whether you run a cafe in Indiranagar or sell handmade crafts from your Pune studio, your visuals need to do the heavy lifting to stop the scroll.
My approach is cinematic. I rely heavily on my Nikon Z mirrorless and Godox lighting to bring out depth, contrast, and those 'moody' shadows that make images feel alive. For food, this means highlighting the steam, the fresh ingredients, and the messy, authentic textures that make a dish look irresistible. For products, I focus on macro details and composition that tells a story rather than just showing the item.
Here is how we get it done:
- The Setup: I come to your location—cafe, kitchen, or studio. I work with what you have, using a mix of available light and my own portable flash setup to create the right atmosphere.
- The Workflow: I’m not into stiff posing. I prefer capturing the process: the mixology of a drink, the garnish being placed, or the hands working on a craft. It feels more human and less like a stock photo.
- The Delivery: You don't have to wait weeks. I edit everything in Lightroom for that signature look and get your high-res files to you in about 5-7 days.
If you have a crazy idea or a specific brand aesthetic you want to hit, let’s talk. I’m always down for a collab that pushes me to create something fresh.
Zahid Moledina
I’m Zahid, and I’m the guy who’ll sacrifice a perfectly good meal just to get the right lighting for your shot. I thrive on that mix of chaos and precision, whether it’s a packed restaurant kitchen or a quiet product corner. If you want visuals that actually tell a story instead of just filling a frame, we’ll get along just fine.
