Playful STEAM & Coding Adventures
We turn stories, messy play, and LEGO bricks into logic lessons. Here is a glimpse into how we spark curiosity at TheBrainWagon.
Watch our little engineers proudly present their LEGO creations. In our robotics classes, we use gears, motors, and simple machines to bring ideas to life, building not just models, but also confidence and a deep understanding of how things work.
Many parents worry about screen time, and we get it. This is why our coding journey starts with unplugged, hands-on activities for our youngest learners and gradually introduces block-based coding on screens when they are ready, ensuring a healthy and age-appropriate path to computational thinking.
What does coding have to do with dressing a doll or making a pizza? Everything! We teach fundamental concepts like sequencing and logic through playful, everyday activities that children already love, making learning intuitive and incredibly fun.
With our iCanCode program, little hands learn to command the digital world. Using beginner-friendly, block-based coding, children start by making emojis chat and soon progress to designing their own games and animations, turning screen time into creative, productive fun.
Our classes turn stories into real-world projects. After reading "How to Code a Rollercoaster," our students designed and built their own paper versions, learning about loops, sequences, and debugging through a hands-on STEAM activity that blended storytelling with engineering.
It all begins with a story. In our in-school programs, we gather young learners to explore coding concepts through imagination and conversation. This screen-free approach builds a strong foundation for logical thinking in a nurturing, group environment.
We are passionate about making learning an adventure, even if it gets a little messy. We believe the giggles, the "aha!" moments, and the creative chaos are where the real magic of discovery happens. We are proudly unapologetic about making education this much fun.
About Featured
At TheBrainWagon, we don't think coding requires a screen. Whether it's LEGO gears or floor grids for sequencing, we focus on the logic behind the task before we even touch a laptop. If you want to see your child build confidence while getting their hands dirty with engineering, this is where it starts.
We started TheBrainWagon because we realized that the best learning happens when kids forget they are actually studying. Our programs in Mumbai, including our sessions at Lodha Evoq, are designed to make STEAM and robotics feel like an adventure rather than a chore.
How We Approach Learning
- Unplugged Coding (Ages 3-6): We use floor grids, storybooks, and sensory play to teach the basics of sequencing and algorithms. It is all about physical logic—learning to 'debug' a sandwich or follow a path like a robot.
- LEGO Robotics & Engineering (Ages 3+): Using LEGO Education kits, we help children transition from simple building to understanding mechanical physics. They learn about gears, levers, and motors by creating functional models like cranes and spinning tops.
- Visual Coding (Ages 5+): When they are ready for screens, we move to block-based platforms like ScratchJr and code.org. We shift the focus from playing games to designing them, which turns passive screen time into a productive, creative outlet.
Our batches are kept small—usually 4 to 8 children—because we want to make sure every 'Aha!' moment is captured and celebrated. If your child comes home with paint on their shirt or starts trying to debug their breakfast, you know they had a great session with us.
The Brain Wagon
We are a team of two who believe play is not a break from learning—it is learning. We are obsessed with making messy, silly, and wildly effective experiences where your child is the lead scientist. If they are laughing, they are learning.
