Statement Earrings: Handmade Jadau Designs
Earrings have the power to define a look. From traditional Jhumkas to grand Chandbalis and modern Earcuffs, I’ve curated these gold-plated Jadau pieces to add that perfect desi-chic touch to your festive outfit.
Trend alert: Earcuffs, or Karnphool, are making a huge comeback. I explain how these sculptural pieces can elevate any look, whether you wear them on both ears or mismatched for a modern, edgy vibe.

The Juhi Jhumki is a smaller, more delicate option for those who love the jhumka style but prefer something lightweight. They are perfect for a casual festive gathering or a puja.
Here, our Kimaya earcuffs are styled with a modern, draped saree. This demonstrates how traditional jewellery can be part of a high-fashion, celebrity-inspired look.

About Statement Earrings
If you love big Chandbalis but hate that tugging sensation on your lobes, look for the pairs I have fitted with invisible ear chains or transparent support strings. It is a simple trick I use to make sure you can wear your heavy statement earrings for hours without any discomfort.
My collection of statement earrings is built on a love for traditional Indian craftsmanship, specifically Rajputi and Hyderabadi styles. Whether you are looking for that classic look of a Kundan Jhumka or the edge of a modern earcuff, each piece is handmade and gold-plated to ensure it feels special.
I believe jewellery should be versatile. That is why many of my designs, like the Kumudini or Kimaya earrings, come with detachable ear chains. You can wear them as simple studs for a morning puja, or add the chains when you are ready to dial up the drama for a sangeet or wedding guest look.
I am also big on real talk when it comes to styling. If you have a shorter neck, I generally recommend long danglers to create an illusion of length. If you are experimenting with a fusion look, do not be afraid to pair a bold Jadau piece with a western dress. It is all about how you carry it.
Finally, a note on care: because these pieces are handmade and gold-plated, they need a little love. I include instructions on how to store them to keep the shine intact. If you are feeling stuck on which pair matches your specific neckline or blouse colour, feel free to send me a message. I am always happy to help you mix and match until we find the piece that feels like you.
