About Cozy Indoor Stories
I do not ask you to pose or freeze in unnatural positions. We spend our time together just being, whether that is lounging in your bedroom, reading by the window, or just talking in the kitchen. My goal is to capture the quiet intimacy of your pregnancy in a space where you already feel safe and at ease.
Why choose an indoor shoot
There is a specific kind of magic that happens when you are in your own space. You don't have to worry about travel, changing in public spaces, or the unpredictability of the weather. Indoor sessions allow us to focus entirely on the connection between you and your partner. We use the natural light coming through your windows and the details of your home to create images that feel like an honest snapshot of this chapter in your life.
My process
I keep things minimal. I do not bring heavy lighting gear that takes over your living room. I rely on natural light and the existing vibe of your home. If you want to include your pets or older children, your home is usually the most comfortable place for them too.
What to expect
- Atmosphere: Relaxed and slow-paced. We usually shoot for a 60-90 minute or 2-3 hour window depending on your package, giving us plenty of time to get comfortable.
- Wardrobe: You choose what you wear. Since we are at home, you can pick outfits that make you feel like yourself, whether that is pajamas or a dress you love.
- Collaboration: If you have a favorite corner in your home or a specific activity you want to capture, let me know. I love incorporating the little things—like your sonogram pictures on the bed or your morning tea routine—into the final shots.
