The Finer Details: Decor Elements That Make an Impact
It is the little touches that truly transform a space. From intricate floral arrangements to the right seating and props, these are the design elements we use to make your event feel complete.
For a traditional and comfortable guest experience, I designed this baithak-style seating in an amphitheater. The red and gold cushions, along with elegant candelabras, create a regal and inviting atmosphere.
This video highlights the variety of floral and decorative elements I use. It shows close-ups of marigold garlands, rose arrangements, colorful thread-work hangings, and illuminated props, showcasing the diversity in my designs.
A montage of colorful details from various events. This video shows hanging floral strings, vibrant marigold setups, and multi-colored fabric drapes, demonstrating my love for using color to create a festive mood.
This video focuses on the small but impactful details of my decor. It includes hanging ornaments, metallic vases, and floral arrangements that add texture, color, and elegance to any event space.
About The Finer Details
People often focus solely on the main stage backdrop, but the real magic happens in the corners you don't immediately notice. I personally curate the smaller elements—the brass urlis, the specific floral density, and the way cushions are laid out for baithak seating—to ensure your guests experience comfort that looks effortlessly elegant. This level of detail is exactly what bridges the gap between a standard setup and one that feels truly thoughtful.
Great event decor is rarely about just one big structure; it is the sum of countless intentional choices. Whether it is a Ganpati puja at home or a grand wedding in Lonavala, we believe the guest experience is defined by these finer details.
Why Details Matter
When we plan an event, we look at the 'visual rhythm' of the space. It isn't enough to just place flowers on a wall. We consider how light hits the brass Samai lamps, the texture of the fabric used for drapes, and the comfort of the seating. For our baithak-style setups, for instance, we ensure the bolster placement is perfect so that the seating is not only photogenic but genuinely comfortable for your guests.
Our Approach to Florals and Props
We avoid the one-size-fits-all approach. If we are using Marigold (Genda Phool), we layer it with Tuberose or Orchids to add depth and fragrance, which creates a more sensory-rich environment. Our inventory includes unique props like antique brassware, custom-painted cycles, and curated dreamcatchers that we use to break the monotony of traditional venue walls.
Lighting the Right Way
Lighting is often an afterthought, but for us, it is a tool. We use PAR focus lights in warm white or amber tones to highlight specific decor elements rather than flooding the entire room. This creates pockets of warmth and drama, making your photos look more professional and your venue feel more intimate. If you have a specific vision, let's talk about how we can source or build the right elements to bring it to life.
