Gardening on a terrace isn't about buying the most expensive gear. It’s about getting the right tools that actually handle our local weather. Here is exactly what I use for my own plants.

This video is a review of Biofics Nutrimix, a granular fertilizer I use. I show you how to apply it to your plants for better growth and more flowers and fruits.

I recently ordered these grow bags from Casa De Amor, and the quality is excellent. I explain why their UV-protected material and drainage holes make them a great choice for terrace gardening.

This is a review of a coir stick from Casa De Amor. I show how I use it to support my Paan (Betel) plant and the great growth I saw in just 20 days.

This video explains why it's crucial to wash cocopeat before using it. I demonstrate the process to ensure it won't harm your plants.

Here's a review of an organic NPK fertilizer from Biofics. I show you how to mix and spray it on your plants, and the amazing results on my Rain Lilies after just 7 days.

About this collection

Most people treat cocopeat like ready-to-use soil, but that’s a big mistake. Because it comes from coastal regions, raw cocopeat is high in salts that can easily kill your plants. I always wash it thoroughly at least twice before use to flush out the excess minerals. It’s a small extra step, but it makes a massive difference in whether your saplings survive or struggle.

My Go-To Gear for a Healthy Garden

I’ve spent a lot of time and money experimenting with different products on my terrace. Gardening in Delhi NCR comes with specific challenges, like harsh summer heat and intense monsoon spells, so your gear needs to be durable.

Soil & Nutrition

To get lush growth and heavy fruiting, you need the right balance. For fertilizer, I rely on Biofics Nutrimix. It’s granular, so it’s easy to mix into the soil, and it’s packed with humic acid, seaweed, and micronutrients. I use this once a month for my flowering and fruiting plants, and the results speak for themselves. If you are struggling with yellowing leaves or stunted growth, this is usually the first thing I recommend.

Grow Bags & Structure

Not all grow bags are created equal. I use Casa De Amor HDPE bags because they are UV-protected, which means they won't crack or tear under our scorching Delhi sun. They come with proper drainage holes, which is non-negotiable for preventing root rot.

Plant Support

If you are growing creepers like bottle gourd, karela, or even passion flower, you need a trellis. I use Trelliskart systems because they are modular and easy to set up on a terrace without drilling into the floor. For smaller climbing plants like my Paan (betel leaf), coir sticks are essential. They give the aerial roots something to cling to and hold moisture, which keeps the foliage green and healthy.

The Golden Rule: Preparation

Whether you’re buying fertilizer or potting mix ingredients, don’t just dump them into a pot. Always research how to prep your materials—like washing cocopeat or diluting liquid NPK correctly. A little prep saves a lot of heartache later.
