About Appu Namana: A Tribute on Wheels

This is a community ride where nobody gets left behind. We gather at Vidhana Soudha for a morning on two wheels, offering both 50km and 100km routes. You will have full road support, including hydration stations every 30 to 40km, mechanical assistance, and a classic South Indian breakfast waiting for you at the finish line.

More Than Just a Ride

Appu Namana is our signature way of keeping the spirit of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar alive. It started in 2022 and has since become a cherished tradition. Moving the event to March to align with his birthday made it even more special for all of us. This is not a race, it is a day to celebrate a legend.

What to Expect

Whether you are an endurance cyclist tackling the 100km stretch or a beginner out for a 50km Sunday spin, the vibe is all about 'namma' (our) community. You will be riding alongside 350+ fellow cyclists. We manage the logistics—from route markers to the finish line celebrations—so you can focus on the pedals and the memories.

The Support Team

Our events run on the energy of our volunteers. You will see them managing the breakfast counters, handling tech support, and cheering at the hydration stops. It takes a lot of work to pull this off, but seeing riders finish with a smile makes it worth it. If you want to know what the BCC family is all about, this event is the best place to start.
