Poojya Basavaraj, our co-founder, was recently named a She Cycles Leadership Icon by the Namma Nimma Cycle Foundation. This isn't just a trophy on a shelf; it is proof that the community-first approach we take at our Indiranagar shop—whether we are fixing your drivetrain or planning your next ride—is exactly what Bangalore’s cycling scene needs.

Cycling in Bangalore can sometimes feel intimidating to beginners, and when we started, our primary goal was to fix that. The She Cycles award recognizes the work we do to lower the barrier to entry. From our 'Cycle School' for absolute beginners to our organized group rides, we focus on making sure every person, regardless of experience, finds their rhythm on the road.

Poojya has been instrumental in this. By fostering a space where women and newcomers feel safe to ask questions—about maintenance, gear, or just where to ride—she has helped turn our #PiTbikeshop in Indiranagar into a real community hub. It is a place where gyaan (knowledge) is shared over coffee and toolsets, not just a place to buy parts.
