About this collection

Randonneuring isn't just about the mileage; it's about the grit required to get to the start line. We know the pre-dawn nerves of a 200K BRM, which is why our Start Line Support team handles your technical checks so you can focus on the ride. Whether you're a seasoned brevet rider or attempting your first Populaire, we make sure your bike is ready so you can roll out with peace of mind.

What is Randonneuring?

Think of it as long-distance, non-competitive endurance cycling. It’s not about crossing the finish line first, but about finishing within the time limit. Our community is deeply involved in local Brevet Populaire (BP) and BRM (Brevet de Randonneurs Mondiaux) events. These rides take you through some of the most scenic routes in and around Bengaluru, testing your stamina and spirit.

Why Ride with the Spokies?

Cycling alone can be daunting, especially when you are tackling 100km or more. When you ride with us, you are part of a tribe that looks out for one another.

  • Start Line Support: We provide technical assistance before your flag-off, ensuring your gears and brakes are good to go.
  • Community Spirit: Whether it's a 100K 'Namma Keregalu' ride or a massive 200K BRM, we have a group of experienced riders ready to help newcomers navigate routes and handle the heat.
  • Inclusive Environment: We have women from all backgrounds and fitness levels. If you can pedal, you belong here.

Getting Started

Don't worry about being 'fast enough.' Randonneuring is about consistency, not speed. If you are new, we recommend starting with a Brevet Populaire (usually 100km to 160km). It’s the perfect way to learn the audax experience, understand how to manage your hydration and nutrition, and meet other riders in the city.

Most of our rides start early, often in the dark, but the sunrise, the breakfast spots, and the finish line celebrations make every pedal stroke worth it. Check our event calendar, gear up, and join us for the next big ride. Hogona!

We’re SpokesWomen, a bunch of women in Bengaluru who trade weekend sleep for sunrise pedals. We’re not a formal coaching center; we’re the sisterhood you ride with, laugh with, and occasionally cry-laugh with when the hills get tough. Join us for our next weekend brevet or community ride.
