A tattoo is permanent, so I make sure the placement is perfect before the first drop of ink touches your skin.

The first step for a large cover-up is the stencil. Here you can see the detailed stencil transfer for the warrior forearm sleeve, ensuring every line is perfectly placed over the old tattoo.

Comparing the stencil paper to the final inked piece. This side-by-side shows how the initial design translates directly onto the skin, resulting in a clean and detailed tattoo.

Applying the stencil for a Buddha tattoo on the upper arm. This is a crucial step to get the proportions and placement right for a peaceful and balanced final design.

From the digital design to the stencil and the final ink. This God of War symbol tattoo on the upper back shows my process for creating sharp, symbolic blackwork tattoos.

About The Creative Process: From Stencil to Skin

Before I pick up the machine, we place a physical stencil of your design on your skin. This is the stage where we finalize size, flow, and placement. It is your chance to see exactly how the artwork sits on your body, and if anything needs shifting, we move it now. You never get inked until you look in the mirror and say yes.
