Getting a belly piercing isn't just about the jewelry. I always mark the spot while you’re standing so we see exactly how it hangs. We’ll check your anatomy together before a single needle touches your skin. It’s about getting that perfect alignment so it heals right, not just fast.
Dadar mein 15 saal se studio chala raha hoon, aur maine dekha hai ki piercing mein sabse important cheez hai safai aur suraksha. Many places use piercing guns, but I don't do that. Guns are difficult to sterilize and can cause tissue trauma. I use a fresh, single-use 14G cannula needle for every single job.
My process is simple:
- Anatomy Check: Every navel is different. I check your ridge while you stand and lie down to make sure the jewelry won't reject or migrate later.
- Marking: We do this together. You look in the mirror, we agree on the spot, and then we pierce.
- Jewelry: I use 316L surgical steel. Whether you want a simple curved barbell or something with a dangling charm, we make sure it’s the right gauge.
