About Designs for Engagements & Celebrations
When I work on engagement or celebration henna, I take time to really listen to what you want, whether it is a specific floral motif or incorporating initials into the pattern. Because I make my own organic henna cones from scratch, the color is always rich and deep, which is exactly what you want for those photos on your big day.
Henna is so much more than just a temporary design for me; it is a way to celebrate your most important milestones. Whether you are hosting an engagement, an aqeeqha, or a family get-together in Bengaluru, I believe your mehndi should feel personal.
My approach to engagement henna is all about details. I love working with clients to incorporate symbols like intertwined rings or the couple's initials into the center of the palm. These small, thoughtful additions are what make the design feel truly yours. For celebrations like an aqeeqha or an intimate party, I often suggest a mix of traditional jhumka patterns and flowing vines. These styles look stunning in photos but are also comfortable to wear while you are busy hosting your guests.
Since I exclusively use my own homemade, 100% organic henna cones, you never have to worry about skin irritation or chemical reactions. The trade-off is that my paste takes a little longer to set, but the result is a beautiful, dark maroon stain that lasts. I generally advise my clients to keep the paste on for at least four to six hours, or even overnight, to really let that color develop.
