About Lord Ganesha Collection

Every Ganesha painting starts with our traditional 'Sudha' embossing—a limestone and gum paste mix that provides depth and structure. We meticulously detail the eyes using traditional shading techniques, ensuring that when the final 24K gold foil is applied, the deity’s expression truly comes alive in your pooja room.

Bringing the Remover of Obstacles Home

For us, painting Lord Ganesha is a meditative practice. Whether you are looking for a classic Ganesha seated on a lotus or a more intricate scene of the deity with his sibling Muruga, each piece is crafted to bring a sense of grace and wisdom into your home.

Our Traditional Process

We do not use synthetic fillers or shortcuts.

  • Sudha Embossing: We use a traditional limestone and gum paste mix to create high-relief textures. This step is crucial for giving the deity and the surrounding arch (Prabhavali) their distinct, three-dimensional presence.
  • 24K Gold Foil: We use authentic 24-karat gold foil. It is applied over the embossed areas to capture the light, creating the rich, warm glow that traditional Thanjavur art is known for.
  • Kundan & Stone Work: To add a final touch of royalty, we inlay semi-precious Kundan stones and Swarovski crystals. These catch the light during daily pooja and evening lamps, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of your space.

Custom Commissions

If you have a specific vision for your pooja room, we can work together to create it. Whether you want a compact 10x12 inch piece or a larger heritage masterpiece, I will guide you through the selection of colours, poses, and framing options. Every piece we ship across India comes with a certificate of authenticity, ensuring that the legacy of my grandmother and mother continues in your home for decades to come.

Hi, I'm Vibha. I grew up surrounded by the scent of traditional paint and the glimmer of gold foil in our home. Ganesha has always been special to our family, and painting his gentle form is my favorite way to connect with that legacy.
