Fashion Hair Color & Bold Shades
Want a change that stands out? I use high-quality, professional-grade products for vibrant reds, blues, and purples that actually last, without compromising your hair health.
This client wanted a dramatic change, so we went for a full-head application of a rich, magenta-purple shade. The video shows the before, during, and the stunning final reveal of her vibrant new hair.
Here, I added subtle violet and red tones to a dark brown base. The result is a deep, multi-tonal color that reveals beautiful flashes of purple and red in the light, styled here in soft waves.
This client opted for a cool, edgy look with blue-green ombre ends. The color is expertly blended from her natural dark hair into a beautiful aquatic shade, showcasing a fun and unique style.
This is a gorgeous example of deep violet highlights woven into dark, wavy hair. The color adds a touch of mystery and sophistication, creating a look that is both bold and elegant.
This collage shows two angles of the deep violet highlights, demonstrating how the color looks from different perspectives. It's a versatile shade that can appear subtle in low light and vibrant in the sun.
This video showcases a "peekaboo" fashion color application. I applied a bright purple shade to the underlayers of the hair, creating a fun surprise when the hair is moved or styled.
This video collage highlights some of our bold color work, including a vibrant peacock green applied to the undersection of the hair. This technique allows for a flash of dramatic color while maintaining a more natural look on top.
This transformation is truly unique, featuring an oil-slick color effect with shades of blue and purple. This multi-tonal look was created by layering different fashion colors to mimic the iridescent shine of oil on water.
This client wanted to embrace her natural curls with a bold color. I applied a vibrant red to her hair, defining her curls and creating a fiery, head-turning look that perfectly matches her personality.
About Bold & Fashion Shades: Express Yourself
Before we pick a color, we have to look at your hair's current porosity and strength. If your hair is brittle, I will ask you to delay the fashion shade and do a strengthening treatment first. I would rather lose a sale than have you leave my chair with fried hair, so we always prioritize structural health before we touch any bleach or dye.
Achieving bright fashion shades—like electric blue, peacock green, or magenta—requires lifting your hair's natural pigment, and that is where most salons go wrong. Using the wrong developer or cheap bleach leads to breakage, which is why I incorporate bond builders like Fiberplex into every lightening process. This step is non-negotiable for me because it protects the hair fibers while we lift them.
Why Product Quality Matters
Fashion colors are intense. I use premium lines like Schwarzkopf and Wella because they deposit pigment deeply without the harshness of low-grade, chemical-heavy alternatives that can contain formaldehyde. If you are nervous about committing to a full head of neon color, I often suggest starting with 'peekaboo' highlights or an ombre effect. This gives you that dramatic pop of color when you style your hair, but keeps it subtle and easier to maintain as it grows out.
Maintenance Reality
I am not going to sugarcoat the maintenance. Fashion shades fade faster than natural tones. During your consultation at my Sector 47 or Sector 41 studios, I will explain the shift in your haircare routine. You will need to switch to sulfate-free shampoos and schedule regular refresh sessions to keep those vibrant hues looking fresh. My goal is for you to walk out with a look you love, and for you to know exactly how to keep it looking that way until your next visit.
