About Spiritual & Devotional Music
For these sessions, I focus on creating a serene, immersive atmosphere. My performance is a blend of Carnatic classical kritis and traditional Vedic chants, often accented by the flute to ground the energy of the space. I tailor the setlist to suit the sanctity of your event, ensuring the music feels like a genuine part of the ceremony.
My spiritual performances are designed to be a form of meditation, not just a standard musical recital. I strictly stick to a devotional repertoire, including Dasara Padagalu, Durga Sukta, and various Shlokas, which helps create a focused and tranquil environment for your guests. Because this music is meant to be grounding, I do not include commercial tracks during these specific sessions.
I offer a dedicated recital package, typically spanning 45 to 60 minutes. As this is often for traditional gatherings like housewarmings or pujas, I perform in traditional Indian attire. Please note that for the best experience, this setup works well when I am seated on a raised platform or a dedicated carpet area. My performance uses the electronic tanpura for that authentic classical sound, sometimes accompanied by backing tracks for classical percussion. If you have a specific raga or chant in mind that holds meaning for your family, let me know, and I can incorporate it into the session.
