I make sure to keep the sound setup balanced, so the music adds to your event rather than drowning out your guests. Whether it is a traditional seated Baithak or a casual acoustic set for your Sangeet, my band and I adjust the volume and instruments to fit your space perfectly, letting you enjoy the conversation while we provide the live soundtrack.
When you choose an acoustic set, you are essentially asking for a performance where the raw quality of the voice and the melody comes first. My goal is to create an experience that feels personal and immersive, not just a stage performance where the audience is distant.
The Setup Options
Depending on the occasion, we can scale the setup to match the room size and the vibe of your event:
- Traditional Baithak: This is a 3-piece ensemble featuring vocals, tabla, and keys. It is strictly for seated audiences where the focus is on listening to Bhavageethe, Sugama Sangeeta, and devotional poetry. We keep the setup minimal to maintain that classic chamber concert atmosphere.
- Acoustic & Unplugged: Perfect for private parties, living room gatherings, or smaller wedding rituals. We bring guitars, maybe a flute, and keep it rhythmic but light. This setup is great for when you want a background vibe that can turn into a sing-along.
Why Choose Acoustic?
Real talk—not every event needs a full electric band. For house warmings, intimate weddings, or dinner gatherings, having a loud band can make it hard for guests to talk. Acoustic sets offer a compromise: you get the energy of a live performance, but at a volume where your guests can still catch up and enjoy the food.
I personally work with our sound engineer to ensure we are not 'that loud band' in the corner. We focus on clear, crisp audio that fills the space without forcing anyone to raise their voice. Whether I am singing in Kannada, Hindi, or Tamil, my priority is ensuring the music complements your evening perfectly.
