About Behind the Magic: My Team, My Fauj
People often think a choreographer works alone, but I bring a dedicated squad to handle the logistics so you do not have to. While I focus on your solos, my team of 3 to 4 senior assistant choreographers manages the family medleys and stage cues, ensuring the entire show flows smoothly without you worrying about who stands where.
When you book SKE, you are not just getting a teacher; you are getting a production unit. We call ourselves a 'fauj' for a reason. From the initial concept scripting and song mixing to the intense 10-day rehearsal workshops, my team is on the ground at your venue to act as your buffer against pre-wedding stress.
We don't just teach steps. We handle the heavy lifting: coordinating light and sound technicians, managing LED background cues, and acting as on-site stage managers. If there is a mix-up with the music or someone forgets their entry cue, my team is already on it. We thrive on back-to-back shows, often napping backstage between sets just to ensure the next performance hits with full power.
Whether it is the bacha party learning their first routine or grandparents joining a classic track, we simplify the movements for everyone involved.
