About A Look Inside the Academy
My academy is not about watching me work while you take notes. When you walk into the studio in Basaveshwar Nagar, you will see mannequins, irons, and products laid out because you will be using them immediately. I focus on 100% practical training, so even if you have never held an iron or draped a saree, you will leave knowing exactly how to handle fabric and clients.
When I designed Swathi Studio and Academy, my goal was to create a space that feels like a real workspace, not a classroom. You will not find boring theory sessions here. Whether you are joining my 72-day Professional Diploma or a 1-day Saree Draping Workshop, the approach is the same: you work on models and mannequins from day one.
We cover everything from the right way to hold an iron for silk sarees to advanced SFX makeup techniques. But technique is only half the battle. I also teach you how to market yourself on social media, manage clients, and build a sustainable business. You will walk away with a professional portfolio—we do a full shoot with jewelry and costumes—to show future clients exactly what you can do.
