About Vibrant Mehendi & Sangeet Styles
I suggest we start with a trial for these functions. Since Mehendi and Sangeet events involve dancing and outdoor heat, I test two different eye looks and base types on you, then ask you to wear them for 8 to 10 hours. This is the only way to be sure your makeup stays fresh and doesn't get patchy while you have fun.
My Approach to Mehendi & Sangeet Makeup
These events are about energy and movement, so your makeup needs to keep up. I don't believe in heavy, cakey layers. My 'Levels of Hydration' method ensures your skin looks like skin, even when we add a pop of blue eyeliner, graphic shadows, or glossy lips to match your outfit.
Why the Trial Matters
I am not just handing you a look and hoping for the best. During our trial, we experiment with:
- Two Eye Looks: We compare different styles, like a sharp graphic liner versus a soft smokey look, so you know exactly what complements your face shape.
- Wear-Test: You wear the trial look for a full day. If it creases or fades, we change the product or the technique. This eliminates any stress on your wedding day.
Handling Colour and Texture
Mehendi outfits are often vibrant, and you might want to match that. Whether it is a subtle shimmer or a bold, colourful graphic eye, I focus on precise placement. If you have textured skin or acne, I work with thin, breathable layers and proper blending techniques to enhance your natural features rather than masking them. My goal is to make sure you look like yourself, just a little extra glowy for the photos, hai na?
I handle the hair too. Whether it is messy buns for the Dhol night or soft waves for a daytime Haldi, my team ensures your hairstyle stays secure while you move.
Saakshi
I'm a makeup artist and educator based in Delhi. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all looks. Instead, I focus on teaching you about your own skin and creating a look that feels comfortable, whether that's a soft, minimal style or something bold and colourful for your big day.
