Elegant, respectful, and perfectly styled setups for your family's most important milestones, from cradle ceremonies to baby showers.

A complete setup for a baby's naming and cradle ceremony. We provided a welcome sign, a grand blue and gold balloon backdrop for photos, and a beautifully decorated floral cradle.

A modern naming ceremony setup with a "Guess my Name?" neon sign. The decor features a circular balloon and flower arch against a grass wall, creating a perfect photo booth.

A simple and elegant baby shower decoration. We used a grass wall with fairy lights and a custom "Baby Shower" cutout, creating a warm and inviting backdrop.

An entrance decoration for a celebration, featuring a lighted arch, a Ganesha idol, and large elephant statues. This creates a grand and auspicious welcome for guests.

A stage setup for a half saree ceremony. The decor includes a grass wall with fairy lights, a pink balloon arch, and a white lounge sofa, blending modern and traditional elements.

A traditional backdrop created with artificial flower garlands and fabric draping. This setup includes a white divan sofa, perfect for seating at ceremonies like baby showers or engagements.

A simple and sweet 'Welcome Baby' decoration for a home. We used a pink and white balloon arch for the doorway and balloon clusters inside to celebrate the new arrival.

A heart-shaped balloon backdrop for a naming ceremony. This setup uses pink and white balloons and includes photos of the baby, creating a personalized and lovely photo opportunity.

A close-up of our artificial flower backdrops. This design uses a green grass wall base with jasmine, marigold, and lotus bud garlands for a classic South Indian ceremony look.

Another variation of our traditional floral backdrops. This one combines colorful flower garlands with blue and purple fabric draping and decorative flamingo props.

About Traditional Ceremonies

When I set up a cradle or naming ceremony, I pay extra attention to how the backdrop and lighting fit into your home or hall. I focus on creating a festive look using artificial flowers and fabric draping that feels classic, but I make sure the placement doesn't crowd your seating area. My goal is to ensure the focus remains on your family and the rituals, while keeping the background clean for your photos.

Every family event has its own rhythm. Whether you are hosting a cradle ceremony, a naming function, or a baby shower, the decor needs to be meaningful and respectful. I bring the same level of care to these setups that I would for my own family functions.

How I Style Your Ceremony

My approach blends traditional South Indian aesthetics with modern clean lines. I typically work with fabric draping and artificial floral garlands—marigold, jasmine, and rose replicas—which look fresh throughout the event without the hassle of wilting.

For naming ceremonies, I often suggest using a grass wall or draped backdrop as a focal point. This creates a dedicated spot for the cradle or the ceremonial seat, which makes it much easier for your photographer to get clear shots. I also include specific props like brass diya stands, ornate divan sofas, or thematic cutouts that add a layer of detail without taking over the space.

Practical Considerations

When we plan your setup, we will look at the space available.

  • Cradle placement: I need a clear area so the cradle can be accessed comfortably during the ceremony.
  • Lighting: I prefer using soft, warm fairy lights woven into the drapes to create a natural glow, rather than harsh overhead lights.
  • Timing: For most traditional setups, my team and I arrive 3 to 4 hours in advance to ensure the fabric is steamed and the floral arrangements are secure.

If you have a specific color theme or a traditional motif you want to incorporate, let me know. I do not use standard 'copy-paste' designs. Every backdrop and arch is put together by me on the spot, so we can adjust the styling as we go.
