From the streets of Penang to the peaks of Darjeeling, these are some of my favorite travel films captured with a bird's eye perspective.

A "Top 5 Places to Visit" guide for Penang, Malaysia, created in collaboration with AirAsia. This showcases my ability to create engaging travel content for tourism brands.

A stunning aerial view of the Darjeeling valley, also known as the "Queen of Hills." I used my DJI Mavic 3 Pro to capture the dense cityscape against the backdrop of the mountains.

An FPV drone shot at WonderLa, Hyderabad. I love capturing the thrill of amusement park rides, and this video shows the water coaster in action.

The southernmost tip of mainland India, Kanyakumari. This video shows Swami Vivekananda's Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar Statue, a site of meditation and reflection.

A creative depiction of the Indian tricolor using nature's own palette. The saffron is from Chikmagalur, the white from the snows of Sissu in Himachal Pradesh, and the green from the tea gardens of Munnar.

A night-time aerial photograph of Penang, Malaysia, showing the illuminated skyline and The TOP building. This was part of my collaboration with AirAsia.

An expansive aerial photograph of George Town, Penang, showcasing the city's unique blend of colonial architecture and modern development along the coast.

About Journeys Across India & Beyond

Shooting travel films is about more than just getting the right angle; it is about navigating local regulations and unpredictable weather in real-time. Whether I am managing flight permissions in a foreign city like Penang or waiting hours for the clouds to clear over Darjeeling, I ensure every frame captures a specific story rather than just a view.

Travel filmmaking requires a balance between creative vision and strict operational planning. When I am shooting on location, whether it is for a tourism board or a brand, my process focuses on consistency and technical precision.

My Approach to Remote Shoots

I rely on the DJI Mavic 3 Pro for high-altitude wide shots and the DJI Avata 2 for fast-paced FPV (First-Person View) footage that gets closer to the action. For clients, this means you get a mix of cinematic sweeps and immersive, dynamic shots that ground-based cameras simply cannot capture.

Logistics & Planning

Traveling across India and internationally comes with unique challenges. I handle the logistics, from scouting locations for the best golden-hour lighting to ensuring compliance with DGCA flight regulations in India or local aviation rules abroad.

  • Collaborations: I have partnered with brands like AirAsia to create content that highlights tourist hotspots, balancing aesthetic appeal with practical travel information.
  • Storytelling: My goal is to add value to your project. I don't just record raw footage; I use motion graphics and sound design to explain the location, whether it is the history of a temple or the thrill of an amusement park ride.

Whether you are looking for a short 60-second Instagram Reel or a full 4K destination film, I bring my gear and my eye for detail to wherever your story takes us. Let's discuss your location and what kind of aerial perspective your brand needs.
