Featured Aerial Cinematography & Drone Perspectives
A glimpse into my life behind the lens—from the foggy Western Ghats to the historic temples of Karnataka. These are the moments that define my journey as an aerial artist.
This is the feeling I chase, a single car on a winding road through the Western Ghats, wrapped in morning fog. Using an FPV drone, I captured this top-down aerial shot to convey the solitude and beauty of the journey, a core part of my travel cinematography work.
Revealing the iconic Shiva statue at Murdeshwara from behind the temple gopuram is a classic shot that requires precise drone control. This aerial reveal captures the scale and grandeur of one of Karnataka's most famous coastal landmarks against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea.
A top-down aerial perspective of the Mangalore fishing harbour reveals a vibrant tapestry of color and activity. This shot shows my ability to capture complex, large-scale scenes for documentary or commercial projects, finding organized patterns in the everyday chaos.
Maravanthe beach is a geographical wonder, with the Arabian Sea on one side and the Souparnika River on the other, separated by a national highway. This wide aerial shot captures the unique layout of this Udupi coastal stretch, a perfect example of the stunning landscapes I film.
Filming wildlife requires patience, skill, and a bit of courage. This FPV shot from Sakrebailu elephant camp captures a tense moment as an elephant reacts to my drone, showcasing my experience in capturing raw, unpredictable wildlife action safely and effectively.
Capturing a lightning strike over Kapu beach was a matter of waiting for the perfect moment during a coastal thunderstorm. This aerial shot demonstrates my readiness to film in challenging weather conditions to capture the dramatic power of nature.
Drone cinematography is perfect for capturing intimate moments in epic landscapes. This shot of a couple on a hill in Chikkamagaluru, with sun rays breaking through the clouds, shows how I can use aerial perspectives for pre-wedding films and personal projects.
About this collection
Whether it's chasing lightning over Kapu beach or capturing the scale of temple gopurams, I don't just fly a drone; I look for the story in the landscape. I work with professional 4K gear and use specialized FPV techniques to track movement—like cars on highways or fishing boats in the harbor—giving you dynamic footage that feels alive and immersive.
After seven years in the air, I have learned that the best shots come from patience and a willingness to handle whatever the weather throws at me. Whether it is the mist of the Western Ghats or the high-stakes environment of wildlife filming, my focus is always on capturing the raw emotion of the scene.
My approach combines cinematic landscape videography with high-speed FPV (First Person View) maneuvers. I use techniques like Gyroflow and Reelsteady for rock-solid stabilization, ensuring that even fast-paced chase sequences or low-altitude fly-throughs look smooth.
I treat every project as a piece of my own 'jivanada hudukata' (search for life). I have documented everything from the massive scale of dams like Gajanur to the quiet, spiritual atmosphere of places like Murdeshwara and Dharmastala. I am fully equipped to travel across Karnataka and beyond for projects that need a different perspective. If you are looking for aerial footage that feels grounded, cinematic, and technically precise, let's talk about your vision.
