Focus on Details: Lighting & Decor
Design is all about the little things. I capture the lighting fixtures, textures, and decor elements that give your project its unique personality.
The first shot in this video is a close-up of an elegant, ribbed glass pendant light. Capturing lighting fixtures correctly is crucial in interior photography to show both the design of the fixture and the quality of light it casts.
This video features a shot of a large, sculptural chandelier that serves as the centerpiece of the room. This type of architectural detail photography is essential for hospitality and commercial projects where signature design elements need to be highlighted.
A macro shot focusing on small, decorative figurines on a glass tabletop. These decor detail shots add personality to a project gallery and show a designer's thoughtful curation, proving that even the smallest elements contribute to the overall mood.
About Focus on Details: Lighting & Decor
Lighting makes or breaks a room. I do not just shoot the walls, I mix natural light with bounce flash to make your textures pop and your fixtures glow. Whether it is that custom ribbed glass lamp or a velvet sofa, I get the shot that shows the real quality of your design work, not just the layout.
You spent weeks picking the right chandelier, the perfect marble finish, and the ideal cushions. Why let a bad photo hide all that effort?
My approach to detail photography is simple: I treat your decor like a protagonist. Using a mix of 16-24mm wide shots for context and tighter macro compositions for textures, I ensure the viewer sees what you saw when you designed the space.
My Process
- Lighting Calibration: I don't rely on ambient light alone. I use flash-ambient blending to balance the glow of your fixtures with the natural light from windows, ensuring your lamps don't blow out and your shadows stay soft.
- Framing the Mood: I focus on straight-on elevations for furniture and joinery. This gives architects and designers the clean, symmetrical look needed for a killer portfolio.
- Post-Production: No wonky walls here. I handle vertical line straightening, color cast correction, and removal of minor distractions like light switches or cords so your work looks polished and professional.
Whether you are a decorator in South Delhi or an architect with a project in Gurgaon, I show up with a goal to make your work look like it belongs in a magazine. If you have a specific concept or a unique 'vibe' you want to capture, let’s talk about it before the shoot. I am here to make sure your hard work stops the scroll.
