What I Bring to High Tea
I believe food is about creating memories, not just filling plates. My approach to high tea is fresh, not stuck in the past. It’s a mix of those classic three-tiered stands you see in movies and the fun, overflowing vibe of a gourmet grazing table. Your guests get something that feels familiar but looks and tastes way better than regular fare.
What’s on the Table
Every menu is a bit different, but here’s the kind of stuff I usually serve:
- Savoury and sweet tea party menu with both veg and non-veg treats. Think smoked salmon canapés, avocado crostini, truffle cigars, mini burgers, and quinoa cheese balls.
- Sweets are a big deal. Expect colourful macarons, creamy tiramisu cups, chocolate brownies, and cheesecake shots.
- If you’re feeling fancy, I can even add a champagne high tea experience.
How It Looks & Feels
Food’s got to look as good as it tastes. I set up everything on marble platters, wooden boards, and proper tiered stands. There’s always fresh flowers - makes the whole thing feel like a luxury high tea service.
