I open my private studio in Bangalore for collaborations, not paid gigs. Here is how I use lighting and backdrops to create unique ethnic fashion content.

A vibrant, full-length portrait of a model in a stunning red lehenga. I used a textured red backdrop and specific lighting to create a rich, monochromatic look that makes the silver details pop.

This close-up portrait in a neon green lehenga is all about capturing the details. The lighting is focused on the intricate jewellery and makeup, set against a clean, bright yellow background for maximum impact.

A classic beauty shot from a studio session. I used a fan to create movement in the hair and carefully controlled lighting to sculpt the model's face, resulting in a dramatic and captivating portrait.

This is an example of a low-key, moody studio shoot. Using a single light source and a prop mirror, we created a mysterious and artistic portrait with deep shadows and a warm, orange glow.

This reel shows the fun and energy of a studio lehenga shoot. It includes twirls, dramatic poses, and close-ups, all against a simple black backdrop to keep the focus on the model and the outfit.

A full-length shot of a model in a blue half-saree, taken during a collaboration with a jewellery brand. The clean, well-lit environment of the showroom allows the gold jewellery to shine.

This reel was created for a jewellery store collaboration. It shows the model browsing the collection and trying on pieces, demonstrating how we can create commercial content that feels authentic.

A dynamic, high-energy shot from a Garba-themed studio shoot. I used a fast shutter speed to freeze the motion of the model and her dandiya sticks, capturing the joyful spirit of the dance.

A full-length studio portrait with a text overlay from my original social media post. The clean lighting and solid background are perfect for e-commerce or lookbook style shots.

This is a collage I created to show the variety of shots from a single collaboration. It features both studio and outdoor looks, giving a comprehensive view of the project.

About Studio & Lighting Mastery

My studio setup relies on multi-point lighting to separate the subject from the background, which is essential when shooting detailed ethnic wear like sarees or lehengas. I use rim lights and RGB stick lights to add depth and color, rather than flat lighting. If you want to shoot here, bring a clear concept or a mood board. Since this is a collaborative space, I work best with people who know what they want to create and are ready to experiment with poses until the shot lands.
