Express Headshots & Reels Session

Session Details

Duration: 1.5 Hours strict time block.
Location: Home Studio setup in Kothanur (Residential space).
Looks: 1 Look only (Touch-ups allowed, no full costume changes).
Focus: Close-ups, portraits, and upper-body Mudras.

Video & Deliverables

Images: 6 to 8 high-resolution edited digital images with moody styling.
Video: 1 short raw video clip (15 to 30 seconds, 9:16 vertical format) for Reels.
Note: Video file is uncompressed and raw for client editing.

Standard Studio Performance Portfolio

Session Scope

Duration: 3 to 3.5 Hours.
Location: Home Studio setup in Kothanur (Residential space).
Looks: Up to 2 full costume changes allowed.
Style: High-contrast, moody aesthetic using dark backdrops to accentuate jewelry.

Technical Setup

Lighting: Creative rim lighting, RGB stick lights, and ring lights for a theatrical look.
Posing: Expert guidance on angles to capture Mudras and footwork without distortion.

Deliverables

Images: 12 to 15 high-resolution edited images.
Social Cuts: 5 additional image versions cropped specifically for Instagram (4:5 ratio).
Exclusions: Client must arrange their own Makeup Artist and Costumes.

Outdoor Heritage Location Shoot

Session Scope

Duration: 3 to 4 Hours (excluding travel time).
Location: Outdoor spots in Bangalore (e.g., Rocky terrains, Temple steps, or Heritage resorts).
Fees: Location entry fees or photography permits are payable by the client.
Travel: Includes travel within 15km of Kothanur; surcharge applies for further distances.

Production

Lighting: Primary use of natural light and golden hour sun, assisted by reflectors.
Assistants: Includes one assistant for light management.

Deliverables

Images: 15 to 20 high-resolution edited images with natural tone grading.
Video: 2 to 3 short raw video clips of movement in the environment.

About Classical Dance Photography

I shoot classical dance because I genuinely love the art form, not as a full-time gig. If you’re looking for a paid shoot, this probably isn’t for you. I only do collaboration shoots where we both get to build our portfolios.

What I Focus On

My main thing is capturing the soul of Indian classical dance, especially Bharatanatyam. I want to freeze those moments where your abhinaya (expressions) and mudras (hand gestures) tell a story. I’m all about the details - the alta on your hands, the silk saree, the temple jewelry, and the gajra in your hair.

My Studio & Shooting Style

Most sessions happen at my Bangalore studio. The vibe is a bit different from the usual - think dark, textured backdrops (deep red or black), dramatic studio lighting for dancers, and a moody, almost theatrical feel. I use spotlights and shadows to make your costume and expressions pop.

What You’ll Get

After the shoot, you’ll get a set of high-res, edited images for your portfolio or Insta. I also make short artistic dance reels for Instagram, set to music, showing off your poses and expressions. If you want something real and art-focused, not just another commercial shoot, this is it.

My Story

Photography mera shauk hai, roz kaam nahi. Bangalore studio mein models ke saath collab shoots karta hoon - paisa nahi, bas content exchange. Red backdrop pe ethnic look, saree, ya classical dance - yahi sab mein enjoy karta hoon. Paid shoots ke liye time nahi, sirf passion aur creative vibe chahiye. Full-time nahi, bas jab mann kare tabhi shoot.
