I focus on structural sculpting and unique textures rather than just concealing, ensuring the makeup complements the styling and the specific mood of your shoot. Whether we are aiming for a raw, avant-garde look or something polished and classic, the goal is to create a face that commands attention through the lens.
Working on editorial shoots and TVC campaigns is a completely different ballgame. It requires a deep understanding of lighting, fabric textures, and the overall story the director or photographer wants to tell. I don't just apply makeup; I look at the lighting setup and the location to decide on the finish.
My approach to high-fashion is all about balance. If the outfit is heavy or metallic, I might keep the skin clean and glowing to let the clothes pop. If the theme is dreamy and ethereal, like the work I did for the Bhima Jewellery campaign, I bring in elements like iridescent pigments, pearls, or specific color washes to match the vibe.
