We host free sign language workshops in Cubbon Park on the last weekend of every month. It's an interactive and experiential session led by our amazing Deaf volunteers.

As part of our museum volunteering program, volunteers assist persons with disability on a tour, making art and history accessible to everyone.

We conduct co-curricular activities like sports and games for students with disability in various special schools across Bangalore. It's all about fun and engagement.

How was your weekend? Ours was filled with museum visits, community gatherings, and making new friends. This is what volunteering with us looks like.

A great weekend collaborating with the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP). Our volunteers assisted students with disabilities on two separate visits, making it a memorable experience for everyone.

About Our Weekend Volunteering Programs

Volunteering with us is not about being an expert, it is about showing up. Whether you are at a special school in BTM Layout or helping kids explore a museum, your role is simply to be a friend. We ask for a 3-hour commitment, and in return, you get to be part of an inclusive ecosystem that turns strangers into family.

Our weekend programs are designed to be accessible for everyone, from students to working professionals. You do not need prior experience, just an open heart and a willingness to engage.

What your 3 hours look like

Every weekend, our crew is active across Bangalore—from Banaswadi and Whitefield to HSR Layout and Electronic City. Depending on the schedule, you might:

  • Engage in Co-curriculars: Play sports, dance, or conduct art sessions with students at partner special schools.
  • Support Museum Tours: Assist students with disabilities on visits to Bangalore’s museums, making art and history interactive and fun.
  • Craft for a Cause: Help create tactile storybooks or eco-friendly decor at our Karmasthan hub.
  • Sign Language Interaction: Join our workshops at Cubbon Park to break communication barriers.

Why it works

We believe in the power of a consistent, small commitment. By spending just 3 hours, you help provide the 1:1 attention that these students need to thrive. Our 'Buddy Project' model ensures that every volunteer is paired with a student, creating a safe and joyful environment.

Practical details

Most sessions are zero-cost. We coordinate logistics through internal WhatsApp groups once you sign up. Whether it is a Saturday morning session in HSR or a Sunday trek, our coordinators ensure you are briefed on how to support students with different abilities. If you have been looking for a way to give back without the corporate red tape, this is the place to start.
