About How You Can Join Us
You do not need professional training to make a real impact here. If you are short on time, our virtual audiobook recording is the easiest way to jump in—we send you the PDF, you use your phone to record, and that is it. If you are in Bangalore and want to meet new people, our Buddy Project is where the genuine connections happen.
We started as a small group of friends wanting to give back, and now we are building a massive movement. Volunteering with us is not about ticking boxes or filling resumes. It is about showing up and being a friend.
How to Get Involved
Virtual Volunteering: If you cannot make it to a physical location, you can still help. We need volunteers to record audiobooks for visually impaired students. It is a simple process: you use your phone to record, we guide you through the chapters, and you make learning accessible for someone else.
The Buddy Project: This is for those in Bangalore who want to experience the real magic of connection. We pair you with a peer who has a disability. You are not a tutor, and you are not a caretaker. You are a buddy. You hang out, play games, walk in the park, and just be present. It is the most rewarding way to spend a weekend.
Social Media & Operations: If you have skills in content creation, design, or just love the 'influencer thingy', we need you. We are building a team to help us manage our growth and spread awareness.
The Karmasthan Vibe
Everything happens through our hub, Karmasthan, located in BTM Layout. This is where we plan, create, and build our community. Whether you are helping with eco-friendly workshops or joining our Indian Sign Language classes, you will find that strangers quickly become family. We do not require experience, just an open heart and a high josh.
