Tandav: Our Inclusive Dance Festival

Tandav is our biggest annual event, India's first inclusive dance festival where volunteers and persons with disabilities celebrate together. We hold free practice sessions at Cubbon Park for weeks leading up to the main event in December.

Learn Indian Sign Language (ISL)

We believe communication is the key to true inclusion. We host regular, free Indian Sign Language workshops at Cubbon Park and other venues, often taught by our Deaf volunteers, to bridge the gap and build a more connected community.

Craft for a Cause

Get your hands dirty for a good cause! Our crafting sessions involve making tactile storybooks for visually impaired students, eco-friendly decor, and other educational materials. These sessions are held at Karmasthan and other locations, and all materials are provided.

Karmasthan: India's First Volunteering Hub

Welcome to Karmasthan, our dedicated social hub for volunteering in BTM Layout, Bangalore. This is where we host workshops, plan events, and build our community, turning strangers into family. It's the first of its kind in India.

Festivals, Fundraisers & Community Events

Our community thrives on connection and celebration. We organize everything from fundraising open mics and Holi parties to inclusive festivals like the Happy Festival for visually impaired students. Every event is an opportunity to have fun and support our cause.

Our Weekend Volunteering Programs

This is the heart of what we do. Every weekend, our volunteers dedicate their time across Bangalore, supporting students with disabilities through co-curricular activities, museum visits, inclusive treks, and job fairs. No experience is needed, just an open heart.

Our Story & Our People

We started as 'Smileys' in 2011 with a simple idea: give back with joy. Today, we are a movement supporting over 25 special schools, driven by a passionate community of thousands of volunteers who have become a family.

How You Can Join Us

Ready to make a difference? You can volunteer from home by recording audiobooks for visually impaired students, join our social media team to help us spread the word, or become a buddy to someone who needs a friend. There's a role for everyone.
