When I say I have a 'seasonal menu,' I’m not talking about basic festive decor. I’m talking about things like my 'Ruby Myers' Valentine’s gin cocktail or Negroni Week flights where I actually change the entire bar list. My holiday events are fully immersive, meaning if it’s Christmas or Valentine's Day, you’ll find me curating a specific food and drink list, not just serving the standard day-to-day items.

My house is never static. If you walk into Sly Granny during a festival, you aren't getting the same experience as someone who walked in last Tuesday. I treat every occasion as a reason to experiment, whether that’s with a dedicated Valentine’s menu featuring Tiger Prawns and Cupid’s Heart desserts, or a week-long takeover like Negroni Week.

How I Do Holidays

  • Curated Takeovers: During Negroni Week, for example, the bar doesn't just offer one classic drink. I bring in four unique twists—like the Betel Leaf Sour or a Coconut & Dark Chocolate Negroni—that you won't find on my menu any other time of the year.
  • Event-Driven Dining: My 'Dragalicious' sundowners or Christmas parties aren't just about the food. I change the lighting, the playlist, and often the layout to match the vibe. It is about creating a space where the atmosphere is as loud as the drinks.
  • Themed Menus: Whether it's a romantic Valentine's set menu for couples or a boisterous brunch, my kitchen team works on seasonal ingredients that actually make sense for the occasion. No shortcuts, just stuff I’d actually want to eat.
