About Ayurvedic Knowledge & Lifestyle Tips
The first step toward real balance is knowing your Prakriti, or body constitution. When you eat foods that align with your specific dosha—Vata, Pitta, or Kapha—your digestion improves and your energy levels stabilize. It is not just about what you eat, but how your body processes it. We encourage you to move away from generic health advice and start listening to what your unique system actually requires.
Understanding Your Doshas
Ayurveda operates on the principle that no two bodies are identical. Someone with a Vata-dominant body might thrive on warming, grounding foods like cooked grains and root vegetables, while a Pitta-dominant person often needs cooling, hydrating options like cucumber or tender coconut water to manage heat and inflammation. Getting this right is the foundation of preventing chronic ailments.
Common Herbs, Practical Wisdom
We often see patients relying on home remedies without knowing the underlying cause of their discomfort. While spices like Ajwain are excellent for bloating or indigestion, and Tulsi is helpful for stress management and supporting immunity, these are tools to support your body, not replacements for a structured diagnosis. We always recommend using these based on an assessment of your current health state.
The Siddhanta Approach
Chronic health issues often start as minor imbalances—digestive sluggishness, irregular sleep, or low energy. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all wellness. During our consultations at our AECS Layout clinic, we evaluate your current state against your Prakriti to create a lifestyle chart that is practical, sustainable, and specific to your life in the city. If you are feeling out of balance, the answer usually lies in returning to the basics of seasonal, natural living. Let us help you find that path back to svasthyam.
