I do not believe in just standing on stage with a mic. Whether I am leading a Garba circle or managing a massive Holi crowd, my job is to be the bridge between the music and the audience. I keep things interactive with impromptu dance-offs and simple, follow-along steps that anyone from Dadi to the youngest cousin can do. It is about building a community on the floor, not just performing.
