Custom Mehendi Designs: From Sketch to Skin
Every beautiful pattern starts as a concept. See how I transform initial sketches into precise, long-lasting natural henna art on your skin.
This video shows the satisfying process of peeling off dried henna paste to reveal the beautiful orange stain underneath. I only use natural henna for the best and safest results.
I have a B.A. degree, but my real passion is mehendi. This video shows the fine detail work that goes into even a simple-looking design. It’s this skill that I value and teach my students to value too.

About this collection
Before the cone touches your skin, I map out the flow. Whether it is a complex baraat scene or a simple floral trail, the secret is in the grid work and the consistency of the paste. I mix my own natural henna to ensure that deep, dark stain without relying on chemicals.
My process is simple: I treat your skin like a canvas.
The Sketching Phase
Many artists jump straight to application, but I start on paper. When we discuss your custom design, I sketch out the proportions first. This helps us decide on the placement of figurative elements like bride and groom portraits or god figures. It ensures that when I move to your hands or feet, the design is symmetrical, balanced, and tells your specific story clearly.
Why Technique Matters
Anyone can squeeze a cone, but shading and grid work are what define quality. I focus on advanced techniques like 'reverse negative space' and precise Gulf-style shading. This requires a steady hand and a deep understanding of anatomy. If a design is too crowded, it loses impact. My goal is to make every line intentional.
The Natural Henna Promise
I am strict about one thing: safety. I only use 100% natural henna powder, essential oils, and water. You will never find me using chemical cones to get that instant dark stain. It takes patience for natural henna to darken, but it is the only way to ensure your skin stays safe while giving you that rich, deep colour. If you are looking for cheap, quick-fix mehendi, I am not the right artist for you. If you want art that lasts and looks good, let's talk.
Shweta's Art
I am Shweta, and for me, mehendi is not just decoration. It is an art form that deserves respect. I teach my students exactly how to build a design that flows naturally with your hand, ensuring every stroke has meaning.
