I don't believe in stiff poses or artificial instructions. When I’m on location—whether it’s a golden hour session in a field or a quiet moment before your ceremony—I’m constantly moving to find the right light. Using my Sony gear and portable lighting, I keep the setup minimal so you can focus on each other, not the camera. This ensures that the final photos capture your real chemistry rather than a staged version of it.
How I Work
Photography for me is about building a connection. Before the camera comes out, I spend time understanding your dynamic as a couple. Whether we are shooting a pre-wedding concept in a Mumbai park or capturing the chaos of a Haldi, my goal is to blend into the background. I want you to forget I am there, which is how we get those candid smiles and real tears.
The Gear & The Technique
I rely on Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras for their speed and clarity in low-light situations, essential for indoor wedding rituals. For portraits, I use specific lighting setups with Godox strobes to create that dramatic, cinematic feel without making the scene look clinical.
My Approach to Cultural Weddings
Every culture has its own rhythm, and my job is to follow it.
- Maharashtrian/South Indian: I focus on the intricate rituals and the deep colors of the sarees.
- Punjabi/Bengali: I hunt for the energy on the dance floor and the grandeur of the traditional attire.
- Engagement & Receptions: I prioritize the interactions between guests and the candid moments between the couple during the celebrations.
