About Natural Clays, Powders & Botanicals
When working with botanical additives, less is often more. While dried flower buds look stunning on candle tops, they can sometimes brown if they get too hot during the pouring process. I recommend testing a small pinch in your wax or soap base first to see how it reacts, rather than committing to a full production run immediately.
Choosing the Right Additives
Adding natural elements changes how a product looks and feels. Whether you are aiming for the calming aesthetic of chamomile in a bath bomb or the deep exfoliation of charcoal powder in a soap bar, quality matters.
We stock a wide variety of cosmetic-grade clays like bentonite and kaolin, organic fruit powders like papaya and potato, and a beautiful range of botanicals including dried rose petals, jasmine, hibiscus, and even lemongrass sticks.
Usage Tips for Beginners
- Botanicals in Candles: Place dried flowers away from the wick. The flame should never come into direct contact with the petals to avoid smoke or burning.
- Clays & Powders: Always pre-mix your clays with a little liquid (water or oil) before adding them to your soap batter. This prevents clumping and ensures a smooth, uniform color and texture in the final bar.
- Bath Bombs: Ensure your botanicals are completely dry. Moisture is the enemy here, as it can trigger a premature reaction in your bath bomb mixture.
Storage Advice
Because these are natural ingredients, they are sensitive to humidity. Store your flowers and powders in airtight containers away from direct sunlight. We pack our supplies to maintain freshness, but keeping them in a cool, dry place at your own workshop in Delhi or wherever you are based will extend their shelf life significantly.
Whether you are experimenting with your first batch or looking for a consistent supplier to scale your business, we are here to support your creative journey. Visit us in Uttam Nagar to see the quality firsthand or order online for delivery across India.
